2021 rainfall in the IIN subregion was above average values in March and April (approx. 350 mm), with a very good reload of the soil profile.  In June, July, August, and October, rainfall was below average. Precipitations in September (about 46 mm) were not above average but positively impacted on the crop that started its critical period with good water availability in the soil. In November, rainfall was above average. These hydric conditions were critical to allow good yields. 
Temperatures were similar to average with highs above historical series from June to December; lows were below monthly averages except for September, when temperatures were high.  There were about 50 days of frost. Two were especially intense, -10 and -12.4 ºC in August when wheat tillering was starting, which prevented damage.
